Water Festival

Marian will be exhibiting at the Hampshire Water Festival during Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th July 2011. Opening times: 10am - 5pm daily – Admission Free to the Water Festival.

She will have a wide selection of cards, prints, bookmarks, magnets, keyrings and notelets available to buy.

Emsworth Arts Trail 2011

Once again a whole range or Emsworth Artists will be taking part in the, now well recognised, Emsworth Artists Trail, which is part of the 'Nine Days Arts Trail' - also included are Havant, Hayling Island, Leigh Park and Waterlooville.

Marian will again be opening the garden to you all, so you can come and see for yourselves what she's been working on recently.  You can also use the opportunity to stock up on cards, prints, book marks and keyrings etc; all of which will be available to purchase.

As well as exhibiting on the official Emsworth Arts Trail weekend on the 4-5 June (opening time 10am-5pm), you can also come on 28th, 29th and 30th May (10am-5pm) when all her work will be available to view and purchase.

Trail maps can be collected from the Havant Arts Centre (and there is always a handful available outside Marian's garden gate - please help yourselves).

Emsworth Christmas Market 2010

It's all been a little quiet in the 'events' section recetly, but I am now happy to annouce that the annual Emsworth Christmas Market will take place on Sunday 5th December from 10.00am - 4.00pm. 

With the weather forecast looking particularly seasonal, what better way to warm up than to come and see us in the Emsworth Centre in South Street?  

Scratching a Living will be there selling Christmas Cards, Cards, Prints, Bookmarks, Christmas Parcel Tags - and new for this year; Fridge Magnets and Keyrings - just perfect stocking fillers!

Also in the South Street Centre will be a host of other Artists and Jewellers - including Carol Price, John Tweddell, Nina Guilfoyle, Sylvia Tomkinson, Jonquil Tonge and Isobel Banfield - selling some very tempting Christmas Gifts. 

And - if all that wasn't enough - the cafe will be open for business selling hot beverages and delicious snacks to nibble on whilst you peruse the artisan stalls.

Emsworth Horticultural Show - A Blooming Success

Well, what a fantastic day we all had at the Emsworth Show.  The weather couldn't have been any better and there were a record number of visitors (5090 admission tickets were sold - almost a 1000 more than last year!).  The show was full to the brim with events, stalls and of course the marquee played host to a wide range of prize winning home grown produce, homemade and handcrafted goodies.  The arena events went down a storm .... and I'm happy to report that the bird of prey that decided to skip the rest of the show and explore the local area was eventually tracked down in a nearby field.

It was so lovely to see everyone - thanks for popping along to our stall to say hello and to check out the new product-lines (new cards, bookmarks and party invitations - all of which will soon be available on the website).

Successful Water Festival

What a wonderful weekend it was.  The weather was just fantastic and there was an extraordinary array of stalls to browse around and events to partake in.  Thank you to everyone who came along to see all the Artists; Carol Price, Isobel Banfield and Marian Forster in the marquee - it was super to meet you all.  

Carol, Isobel and Marian will all be exhibiting at the Emsworth Artists Exhibition in the Emsworth Community Centre over the August Bank Holiday.
